Someone who, for no fault of their own ended up out of horses and wanted to get back in the saddle (after only a few months) after having horses since before they remember, hacking, hunting, competing and bringing on youngsters. Confident and able...
Own transport, works shifts at their current job so can do a few days through the week, some weekends etc.
How do you find someone who would take someone on like this? It isnt a "job" or career move, just a hobby until they are in the position to get their own again at some point.
Not looking to loan or share really, more help out someone with a few horses. I dont like the idea of borrowing and "blame".
Its not your usual non-horsey family person, nor your more mature "getting back in the saddle" candidate.
I dont feel I would be able to volunteer at an RDA, and riding schools (and lessons) are a little bit of an alien concept. Horses were kept at home so not familiar with livery yards either.
Im feeling lost and need some form of routine and normality! :S
