It wont be for a wee while yet, but I'm wondering if someone would want someone like me for a sharer. I've been riding for 20 years, helped at local riding school and ridden horses for other people in this time. I've had a bit of an enforced break for the past year due to financial problems (too long and boring to get into!) and am desperate to get back into the saddle.
I'm half way through joining the police (fingers crossed), which will mean that I will be working shifts. As such, I may be unable to commit to fixed days.
I'd be happy to much out and all that lark. Fairly competent rider, but not keen on jumping. I have experience of bringin green horses on and have helped a friend back her rather wild WB.
I've moved away from my riding instructor, and adding the cost of petrol to the cost of a lesson would be spending £45 each time, plus about an hour driving each way.
The thing is, I'm not sure anyone would want someone like me for a sharer. As I say, wouldn't be for a while yet (about 6 months), but just putting the feelers out. Been looking on the usual sites, but not seen anything remotely near me.
