Would the economy survive without horses?

Obviously with stuff happening (and this isn’t the thread to discuss that) it got me thinking. I’m sure we as a community add billions to the economy in feed, tax, merch, magic brushes (the magic being they disappear after one groom) etc

What would the economy look like if horse ownership were suddenly abandoned?

Yes. There's only about 500,000 horse owners in Britain, and it's not like in say Denmark where sport horse exports are a large part of its economy
