I have a lovely home bred coloured 4 year old mare who has some specific requirements, she went to a home which didnt work, and has now come home and I have restarted her with some professional help. I suspect however she will always be too sharp for me (I am very nervous although I have ridden her) but she has had some issues in the previous home...

Would I ever be able to find a nice older gelding to swap her with? Something I could hack out on safely - maybe a retired competing horse?

I feel I am doing a lot of work with my mare although we wont be right for her... but the right home would be hugely important? I have another 2 older geldings so something about 13-17 would be perfect for me

am I dreaming? :/

If she's not the one for you, put her up for sale and then look for a suitable horse with the money for get for her x That way you'll have a wider choice of horses x
