For inhand showing?

Just picked this up for an absolute bargain on eBay and wondered if it might be suitable as don't have a fortune to fork out on expensive jackets.

I'm thinking on replacing the buttons with fox head ones to make it more 'horsey'

If not then not an issue as it was only £10 and I'm likly to wear it anyway :)

Thanks!

Depends what you are showing !

It would be lovely with a nice skirt/fitted trousers and hat for lead rein classes, but not suitable for in hand hunters.

I have a yearling appy part bred I'm hoping to take to a few shows to let him 'see the sights' thinking of taking him to a few BAPS and APHC shows if possible for the young stock classes.

I'm a complete newby to showing and not wanting to spend a fortune but loved this jacket.

It is lovely, not that I would have the figure to wear it !!

I would think if you put it with tailored trousers and an unfussy shirt it would look OK.

:eek:

Spots and checks together? :eek::eek:

depends to what level you are planning to show but yes, I think it would be absolutely fine! Its a real bargain and a lovely jacket! i wouldn't change the buttons though, I think it would look too 'fussy'.
