would this work?it attaches to the girth not the saddle but was wondering if it would have any stability-i didnt even know they existed!

Yep it looks like a plain old fashioned breast girth to me, with a martingale attachment. They work just fine.

I brought an elasticated breast girth that attaches to the girth but doesn't have a neck strap - I can't tell if it works or not as it's too big.... (yet again money down the drain)
