Would you buy this horse

I don't want it, he looked so laboured and completly dead looking, such an enourmous effort to jump any fence. If it was my horse I would never stick that video on the internet to sell him, but then is that how all US horses go?

No it is not - the right hind looks very short in the stride, the movement of his whole hind end looks perculiar - I did not study it enough to see if it was on certain leads, certainly enough look poor IMHO.

The riding looks terrible too - looks like they are twisting in the saddle.

Do people agree with my observations????? Would be interested to know.

no, i didnt like it, looked it slow motion and soooooooo much effort! didnt like it at all, its hind was very inactive and just not right in my opinion - did you see the other videos, two of dressahe horse, one mare for 30000 $ and it was awful in my opnion!

Ahhhhhhhhh, am I the only one tht liked it? I thought it was sweet and, if any horse could get me over a jump, i reckon that just might because its so calm and steady.

F*ck me I ride better than that

nope not for me, no fizz or punch, almost just "flat" cant imagine it jumping any great height (although it probably can) I like a horse to take me to the jump!

i just feel that this horse needs a good break not to bad alround not the best i have seen! He seems to have tired of his job and needs a good time off! How old is it maybe needs retirment to enjoy the rest of its time if it oldish! Probably worked very hard in its life! He seems very genuine though|!

I liked the horse, but it would depend what you wanted him for! High level eventing - No, but for someone like me who wants a safe horse for pottering about on he looks ideal. I actually dont think he is lame, just dragging his feet as he is bored rigid by the whole escapade!

Blimey some of the prices are pretty expensive for some very average horses. No wonder so many eventers are being exported from here to North America.
That horse did nothing for me - do not think its lame might be muscular as it did drag it foot. More stiff I thought.

He does look sweet, but I do think that he looks laboured and also possibley over bitted, didn't look very strong in the film, and in a pelham and a flash?? I'm not sure the rider showed him off to his best ability either??

I liked the horse but i do agree with Dogbetty that he looked bored, needs a rest from jumping.
I didnt think he looked lame, think it is just as he was going very steady and was dragging his feet as he was bored.

lol, personally i don't think there is anything wrong with it, not lame just lazy - but that IS obviously the way she wants it.

From what little i know about HJ's keeping it really steady (slow!) and although the canter wasn't of any particular quality or substance, it was very regular and rhythmical - you have to give it that! lol! I also *think* that it is desirable in these HJ classes to have the horse go in the kind of way that looks like a baby could get on it and it would just do the job.
I think be fair, if one of us got on it and really got it's blood up a little, gave it a bit of a blast and put it at a decent fence - could look completely different animal!

Also, don't think it's way of going is miles away from a horse of tim stockdales (ex international grade A) that was on that faking it program - with a novice rider popping teeny jumps, just robotic as the job didn't warrant any effort on the horses part, and the rider is too novice or passive (as here) to encourage or create any. I don't think it's always such a bad trait in a horse, in fact quite the opposite. But that's just my opinion.
