would you call this advert slightly dogey?

Another of those mobile number only ads......

Whenever I place an ad I always only put my mobile phone number because I don't have a land line...

If you have some evidence that this is dodgy then post it otherwise I suggest you withdraw this thread as this is a deflamatory post.

Not really, OP is not saying this dealer is dodgey, just asking if anyone felt he/she may be. I dunno, maybe...

To be fair i cant imagine that a yearling colt of most likely unknown breeding / unknown anything of that size would really be worth all that much more than £50. Plus it only says FROM £50.
Worst case scenario, that could be for a 6 month old flea bitten three legged animal, it doesnt specify any details at all so who knows. You'd only find out if you rang.

It could be dodgy or genuine. When I was looking for another one there was a similar ad for Welsh ponies which was genuine. The woman used to get them cheap from sales and keep them in a herd and sell some off every so often when she got too many.

Corr blimey the OP was only asking for an opinion, for all we know they may want to buy one but don't want to get ripped off. They haven't said 'this man is selling dodgy, 3 legged gazelles being passed off as horses' - everyone is so touchy tonight.

No I don't think they are dodgy, but are probably straight off the moors, not much handling etc.
