Yes I have 3 children and have ridden with all of them but had to stop at 5 months with the last due to really bad SPD. I have to add I would only ride a horse that I knew and trusted and of course there is a risk with that but IMO.
I didnt with either of my boys but more because i didnt have anything very safe to ride. Had just let my Safe old mare out on loan and sold a nice safe little tb ex racer then managed to fall of the one i decided to keep and I was 7 weeks pregnant although i didnt know it. We'd be toying with the idea of putting her in foal so when we found i was pregnant we did this, turns out shes also very hormonal when in foal so i didnt bother to ride the rest of the 1st pregnancy. Didnt with my 2nd as mare was back in foal and I had recently miscarried twins so decided against it for the best.
Just circumstances but i would have liked to.
I haven't had any kids and at the moment I would say that yes I would ride if I were pregnant but only on horses who I know I felt safe on to lessen to chance of us hitting the deck.
If my OH strongly did not want me to ride even the most sensible horse then I may not but as it stands I wouldn't have a problem riding if I were pregnant.
Having made sure my OH was okay about it, I carried on riding during both my pregnancies, but only on my own horses - I stopped riding clients' horses because I felt it wouldn't be fair on them if I were to fall off one of their horses whilst pregnant.
I stopped at 6 months both times because I got so big
Yes I did - on my lovely mare who I trusted to take of us and is delightful with children. I think mares can sense it and a good one will look after you
