Would you concider giving a calmer/hormone suplment to a 15 month old filly?

As title really, Would you concider giving a hormone suplment/calmer to a 15 month old filly? She had her first season last month and since then her behaviour has gone down hill rapidly! The specific suplment im interested in is Golbal herbs - Frisky mare.

hi, i used to give my 18mth old (or at least i think she was about that age, def under 2yrs tho) NAF Oestress as she was awful when in season. As she was so bad with her behaviour I had spoken to my vet & he was happy for her to have a hormone balancer/supp that you could buy in a shop, but nothing stronger, ie from the vet. She is now 5 (well shes 5 tomorrow) & no longer requires this. I used to take her off it over winter & see how she was the following spring before starting it again.

Thats great, thanks loz. I just wanted to make sure people didnt think i was mad for doing it! lol. I was recomemded the frisky mare one by the lovely lady who works in the tack shop, she said that shes not really a beilever herself but has only had good reports about them so thought it was worth a try for me.
