Hello
Title says it all really. I am going to speak to my vet, but I am just trying to think of my options for my mare. Very smart lightweight cob, very good (I think) conformation. Diagnosed with fluid round coffin joints - very early signs of arthritis. She's 8.
I probably won't end up breeding from her, but just trying to research my options as don't think she's going to be sound enough to compete again.
No idea why the arthrtis has developed - sounds a litte crazy but I think her constant banging of stable door might have had something to do with it - repetitive concussion.
If I did breed from her I'd plan to keep the foal for myself - it wouldn't be for sale unless something unforseen happened.
