Would you feel bad?

My horse was evidently racing around the paddock today - his field is next to the menage. Apparently he was upsetting the horses being exercised in there. One horse put in a huge buck and put the rider on the floor. It hasn't been ridden for weeks though so may have been fresh.
I feel bad about this - would you? There's not a lot I can do though other than asking the yard to bring him in when he is like this, which I have already done. I am also happy to move his paddock and have suggested that.

No don't feel bad at all! There's not much you can do if you aren't even there.
Also I would be tempted to think that the horses being ridden shouldn't be distracted but I ride an older horse and have probably forgotten what it is like to be on a more frisky one!

I know how you feel though, April can sometimes take a few mins to load instead of just walking in and I always feel bad for holding people up even though she is being the stubborn one!

You've no reason to feel bad, horses will be horses and it's something you accept when you start riding, It's unfortunate that it happened but when you have a manage right next to a paddock then that sort of thing is pretty enevitable.

Yes agree would feel bad but horses love to run around and its not yours or your horses fault and if the other horse has not been ridden for ages they should have been more aware of that kind of thing happening. Anyway its not your fault

Its just one of those things, and if you have said you are happy for your horse to come in then you can't do much else really.
