Would you go look at this horse?

She seems nice enough to me (not that I have much of a clue about confo etc) but the price seems low to me, that would make me a little suspicious!

I thinks she lloks nice and was wondering if the price reflects the cribbing and her need to put weight/topline on.
I think I might suggest my friend goes but tell her to definatley get it vetted

Surely cribbing and lack of topline wouldn't affect the value that much though? I think I'd ring and find out a bit more about her

I would be very interested to hear what more they have to say about her..I've certainly seen much skinnier beasties albeit 3 day eventing fit!
Conformation wise, she looks like a lovely stamp of horse, but the crib biting would be a major no no and I'm sure is reflected in the price.

I think she looks lovely. I would definietly call to find out more though, and prob ask why she is priced so low. I'd also get a 5 stage vetting. Very pretty mare.

All of their horses are fairly cheap, tbh

Shoddy conformation but bad photo.

I would go and see it if interested, but keep your eyes open - they will be making a profit on this horse OR they will be wanting to move it on quickly at this price. Makes you wonder....

See if you can contact any previous owners. I have bought a horse off these people in the past. I have lots of unanswered questions about the horse in question. My fault but my first time buying through a dealer and you live and learn. I do know people who have bought through them with no problems though

I am sorry to be negative but to me a horse so cheap and at a dealer raises alarm bells. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.

Prefer the 17h 4 year old mare, shame she's sold!
Yes, she's cheap, but many dealers buy for peanuts and sell for a smaller profit to have quick turnaround rather than hanging on for more and having the horse to feed and taking up space where another cheapie could be. But of course, still beware!

Worth a look I would say. If she's a bit of a stress head it could explain the weight. Potential to be a bit of a rough diamond though as an allrounder. V leggy though which I personally don't like, more leg to go wrong. If MardyMare is anything to go by though do your research. Theres nothing wrong with buying from a dealer as long as you go in with your eyes open
