Would you have the vet back out?

Annual check up in Feb revealed some clouding in eyes, and my vet suggested another look in 6 months to see if there was any change. My vet is about to go on maternity leave, so she wont be around when the 6 months is up, would you try and get an appointment before she leaves, so the same vet is reexamining or have another vet from the practice out or wait til she comes back to work?

Totally depends on the practice I suppose and your confidence in the other partners, but I personally wouldn't have a problem with having a different vet out for the next examination. A second opinion can even be helpful.

As long as it's a practice with a few equine vets, not just one, then I would wait until the 6 months are up.

As you have good confidence in the vets available I would wait the 6 months. They should have access to all the previous records.
