Evening all.. I was planning on taking Stanley to a jumping comp tomo which is aimed specifically at nervous riders/novice horses which is perfect as sums us up perfectly! Stanley is really only just learning to jump(although he seems to like it) and I lost my confidence after a fall a few months ago and am slowly regaining it. Spoke to the lady running the comp who assured me it would be very low key and no pressure type of envionment. Just checked the weather and its forecast wind and heavy showers. Now wondering if the wind will spook him(it sometimes upsets him) and maybe I should leave this till another time. Its just that you don't often find these types of events and it does sound perfect for us. WWYD?
