Some of you may recall I won this prize which includes a free entry pass for one, plus car pass (how many can you get in your car!), a lovely bright pink T shirt so Yogi can identify you and the all important course walk with him on Thursday 4th September.
Now I'm too old to make use of it, CCj works for an event rider so will likely be there anyway, so who would like it instead?
I only ask you agree to a donation to Saddle Up spinal research which was launched specifically for the equestrian community.
The highest offer gets the prize. (it's not a draw)
Just either pm me your offer or reply below.
I will leave the comp open until Monday 25th August, and then will ask the winner to send me a cheque made out to Saddle Up either to them direct or me to post on.
The majority of us have fallen off at some point, I know in my time I had some near death falls, and was very lucky not to end up in a wheelchair; let's use this opportunity to raise some cash for this cause.
Did you know over 800 people a year end up paralysed in the Uk and some of them are horse related accidents.
Plus how good will a course walk with Yogi be!!!! (why didn't this happen to me years ago....

A big thank you to Saddle Up and to ADMIN, as I had to have their permission to post this.
I'll also post a reminder in the Lounge to direct people to this post..
Come on, get offering

ooooh I would love to!!!!

However... I have no idea where to pitch my offer!

Will have a think... is this going to be a secret auction... or will you post the leading offer from time to time ?

I think probably it would make the most cash if I posted the leading amount, but I haven't had any offers at all yet!
The ticket plus car parking should be the lowest starting price but I hope someone realises what an amazing opportunity is would be to have the Olympic Team trainer advising them... and offers a lot more!

If it helps anyone make a decision about where to start bidding, if you were to turn up on the day and pay at the gate it would cost you a total of £21 (£10 for the car, £11 for you).

To get the ball rolling, I bid £30

Well over four hundred views and just two offers, I'm a bit disappointed, I thought at least ten people would have had a go!
Please don't be intimidated, the things Yogi will talk about will help anyone at any level, you don't have to be Olympic level to benefit.
I'm off to post in the common room, perhaps someone's Mum or Dad will cough up for the walk, but don't forget, this is a really unique opportunity that normally only the UK team get to experience.

Trouble is the kids are all back at school then!

Am contemplating whether to take B out of school but it's first day back.

If her PC would hurry up and decide the team for the PC jumping we may be there anyway. If I know that then I will bid!

Right I will close it at 9am on the Monday, I need time to post the tickets to the winner and the charity will also want to send you the pink T shirt and get your mobile to arrange what time and where to meet.
I'll stick a reminder up on the Saturday in the hope of attracting a flurry of people!

Hi - hope I'm not too late to join in! I have a close friend who lost his very close friend this year - his advanced eventer who took him round Burghley and Badminton. His said the horse lit up at Burghley and so thats where he wants to scatter his ashes - on a course walk with Yogi would be perfect! Can i go in @ £50?
