Hi
would you loan a 16.2hh warmblood mare that has had a kissings spine op (successful) cribs and only has half a tail? oh is also quite quirky?

With difficulty I would think, maybe try project horses?

Half a tail - what happened to the other half

haha our youngster ate it last year. It is down to her hocks now so we are slowly getting there!
No she likes to come in. The cribbing is only after exercise and food. Would occasionally do it in the field. Has never bothered me as she isnt destroying anything. Wouldn't put a collar on her.

would depend, if it's capable of what some1 wants to do and in the right area with the right level of commitment (time or financial) then I don't see why not, people like quirky horses as long as they're not dangerous and if the op was successful she should be capable of doing something.

Ah bless her only having half a tail lol, I agree with cai It would depend a lot on what’s she is capable to do, age and also the stable facilities the person has. If their stables are made of wood like mine for example,,,, well enough said lol also based on a lot on the right level of commitment and knowledge the person has because of her op, When did she have it done by the way??

I think she is loanable but with a bit of difficulty as cribbing for me personally is a big issue but that’s just me, I would defiantly loan her as a project horse but i wouldnt see why not some1 wouldnt loan her she Obviously a fighter. xxx
