My boy is excellent with the farrier but has had 9 weeks (I think, losing count now!) box rest and although we have sort of mastered the short walking out in hand, he can still explode at nothing.
His shoes have been on nearly 12 weeks as weve not been able to risk his leg by having him shod, shoes removed etc but the farrier is coming thank god on Friday. Would you give him some sedalin just in case? Silly question I know but thought I'd ask what you'd all do.
Also, do you think he'd cope with 2 fronts only, cant start riding for about another 6 weeks although he can be walked and he will have confined turn out in 2 weeks time. He has good feet but Ive never had him shoeless since Ive had him.
Thanks
