Hi All,

I already have at least one too many ponies, and its too early to make any decisions but.. IF you liked it, enjoyed riding her, and after a few months still really enjoyed riding her... Would you take on a 8-10 year old TB mare but with the following.. (please excuse the sketchy details.. and trying not to get too involved, there may be more, but this is the list definitely mentioned already) old knee injury (chipped bone) now sound. A few splints, none of which cause problems currently. possible high ringbone, again sound now, or could be some kind of scarring/callous from brushing/over-reaching behind. A very sweet nature, but has previously been known to rear, although I think this is probably more an escalation of napping rather than a nasty rear with her old nervous rider, after being sent to some heavy handed 'experts' to be sorted out :(
Not novice ride, but definitely willing if lacking enough confidence to be simple..

If so, what do you think she is worth??

At the moment, she has done very little. I doubt she has competed at all, if she has it was a while ago and will be months at least before she was ready to go out and do anything? I know she hasn't been ridden for at least six months, and needs a lot of work/time/patience to build her confidence, and get over her ridden problems

Sold something similiar but was a 9 year old tb gelding with a mild spavin and mild arthritus, and out of work to a good home for £200... Didn't have any other people interested. Trouble with tbs, you can get them so cheap anyway.

Not sure I was looking at 8 yr old 14.2hh cob that rears and has had virtually no schooling but can jump and had been to some comps (currently unfit) her owners are asking 7K doubt they'll get anywhere near that though :o

Would probs not buy due to previous injuries... or offer nominal price?
