Bud is getting his last few teeth through and seems to be in loads of pain , i know u can use bonjella and i have used it before.
But i have been speaking to people with Babies and they say Ambosol is very good for teething.
Do you think this would be ok to use on a horse , i put some on my finger last night and rubbed a bit on his gums and he seemed not to mind it , but thought i best check before i use it again.
I have also started to put a bute in his tea for a couple of days just to ease it too.
What do u think ??????
Would you still ride ??? i dont want to be a mean mummy , but he is just getting somewhere and dont want to be set back yet again, but he did keep smacking his teeth together when i rode him the other day, when he wasnt on bute and not rode him since.

I had problems with my boy when he was teething, you should be ok using the ambosol but be careful you dont put too much in he swallows some, I had to change the bit to a happy mouth for a while, and he managed to bite his way through 3 of them! but he kept shaking his head if i used a metal one, hopefully his teething wont last long!

When tim was teething we just kept him ticking over work wise and were extra carful fitting his bit and noseband (driving bridle used on 4 horses so had to be refitted every time it was used) TBH he wasn't too bad with it all, I've known some who won't tollerate pain/soreness if the mouth and it was dangerous to work them.

i dont know about ambosol i wood speak to your vet about that but the bute is a good thing personaaly i would not ride and allow the mouth to settle!
