Would you get a just turned 2yr old, vetted? As a baby I'm unsure if it would be the right thing, normally I'm all for it but its always been an older horse, or would it be best to ask a experienced person instead?
Horse is not a great sum under £1000.

Yes, 2 stage.

£1000 for a going blind 2 year old, with a dodgy heart and noisy lungs would be rather expensive :).

Thanks for the kick up the bum, yes vet bills are the same no matter cost/age of horse. Just me being blind thinking this may be the perfect one for me, of course all common sense leaves.

Yes, I had my horse vetted at 8 months old, she had a 2 stage, vet picked up on something and had X rays on her hock which proved she was fine and I bought her. She was also under £1000. :)

Definitely a two stage. Had money in pocket to buy a pony once. Vet found she was blind in one eye and dodgy after flexion tests. Advised me not to buy as there are plenty of youngsters out there with no problems. I hope yours is fine!
