Brought my soaking wet, naked ned in, put his wicking fleece on for an hour (all the time I had), stuck his turnout rug on and back out again. He wasn't bone dry but I think that if you're really pushed a modern breathable rug wouldn't hurt. I could be horribly wrong of course in which case (a) this Forum will put me right and (b) I'll be in jail by the morning lol!
At least sweat scrape and stick a cooler on to get the worst of the wet off. I brought my two in on sunday when they were wet to rug up. They weren't bone dry when I put their lightweights on but they were warm.
Thanks guys... I would never do this, never have... the yard owner did!!!!!!!!! hence i am going to look at a new yard this week, fed up of people that just don't care or know any better! (phew sorry about the rant!) xx
