spoil a friends holiday to tell her about the attempted horse theft on her yard or move the horses back to your own place along with her pony and leave it till you know she is home?

I have put my friends lami pony in my spare stable till satuday moning when she comes home but not told her yet. I feel awful but hubby said its only a couple of days and then we can decide what to do when she comes home.

It'll only ruin her holiday, if she's abroad especially she's unlikely to be able to come back, and what can she do if she does?
You've dealt with it now, and the horses are safe, and I'm sure even if she's cross at not being told to begin with she'll appreciate her holiday not being ruined if there was nothing she could do from a distance and you've made the hoorses safe.
I'd doubt if the horse theives would come back just yet even if they really wanted a particular horse simply because they'll realise you'll be more vigilent, it'll be in 3-6 weeks if they try again, when the focus is off.

Leave it until she's home, but make sure you speak to her before she goes to see them and can't find them!
