Well this morning we tried out of new Easyboot gloves and WOW!

We did the hack down the awful stony gritty forestry track that has everything crippled even my friends hunters who are shod all round and used to 3 full days hunting a week.

We cruised it all. I had forgotted how big striding and springy her step is.

She hasn't been lame just quite and not striding out which I put down to being ridden 5 times a week. She did struggle with grit and stones hence the boots.

I wish I'd done it sooner.

I would like to highly recomment Bluemoonequine who came out and fitted the boots, gave me a quick talk in hoof biomechanics and frog care / health and showed me how to put the boots on and off. They saved me a lot of worry and hassle in trying to fit boots myself as I was really worried about making an expensive mistake.

They fit the boots that suit your horse and if your horses foot changed they will buy the boot/s back or part exchange it/them for a new one - how fab is that!

I am so happy and Trixie was positively beaming as we strode down the road :D Oh and they really do fit like a glove we went through clay, mud, a stream, over rocky ground and not a rub or anything :D

Were they overly expensive if you dont mind me asking? I am looking to boot my cob rather than have him shod but cant decide which ones to go for! Money isn't a problem as i'd rather get the best set possible x

This sounds great!!! i really need someone to do this for my chap in essex,if anyone can tell me of a person that does this i would appreciate greatly!!!:)

They were not cheap but I am very impressed. They were £56. each but I do think there is a skill to fitting them as she measured a 2 but actually fitted better into a 1.5 the really are a snug fit but that is the aim of them to avoid rubbing and coming off etc. Oh and we only did fronts as she isn't as sensitive with her backs.

My farrier recommended this chap to me but I am sure there must be other hoof boot fitters around. Good luck.
