For those of you who remember my old chestnut pony, who I bought to hunt for peanuts as he wouldn't school/hack alone/showjump....
His old owner added me on facebook, and I looked though her pics and found this one of him before we bought him. I can't quite read out the year on the bit at the bottom, I think it's 2005? Anyway, that means he would of been 4/5 in this photo...
He started stopping and broncing when he was in a showjumping ring with his old owner, so we bought him. I managed to build his confidence back up by taking him right back to 1"6ft, and eventually he was winning at 3ft level, but we didn't try to push him as it was obvious he was a hunting pony! He had one hell of a jump though, I don't think he ever had a pole down at all when we had him...
