can i just say WOW and THANK YOU to the most amazing HHOer in the world ever (this is a fact, not even a slight exaggeration....)

JOEANNE on here saw a comment i'd made on a post where Pedantic said his new flexi stirrups had arrived... and i said i was DESPERATE for a pair, and probably said something about cutting of an arm to have some...

anyway, she sent me a PM, and today, in the post, arrived a practically unused pair of Mark Todd Flexi Stirrups... *insert smiley with eyes popping out of head and chin dropping to floor*

She wouldn't accept payment... she just wanted them to go somewhere where they'd be used...

Joeanne has singlehandedly restored my faith in the human race. What a total superdooperstar! I don't even know how to begin saying thank you... :)

Three cheers for joeanne... :D

:D :D :D

Oh, thats so kind of her. To reaffirm your new found faith in humanity, there are lots of people around who are generally lovely, caring people, who bend over backwards to help anyone. Unfortunately, the selfish, climb the ladder and pull it up sort of people muddy the waters.

I met Tarrsteps today, lovely, lovely and once again, lovely. She is genuine, kind and encouraging and I felt as if nothing was too much trouble for her - thank you, Tarrsteps x

Anyway, can't say I can send you stirrups or the like but if you ever need a shoulder to lean on I have two (but mind the crocked one cos it is playing me up at the moment) and am here for anyone who needs a bit of support or a hug x

There are some lovely lovely folks on here, Camilla4 posted me her BHS Stage One and Two books and kindly let me borrow them for as long as I need them. Saved me buying them when at the time I hadn't decided whether to do the exams.

Lets hear it for the lovely kind generous HHOers!!! *insert cheers smillie"

Thats lovely!! How kind of her!
It shows we do have some lovely members on here, Kerrilli kindly sent me some feed for my old girl to try to see if she would eat it! Then another lovely person sent me a sample of rubber matting that she had (i was looking at the same type)

Three cheers for Joeanne! :D Hope you have lots of happy rides with them. :)

Agree there are some lovely HHO-ers, TPO recently posted my some spurs she longer needed when I said I was looking to try some (and she has let me keep them!) which was very kind of her and we've also done a horsey book-swap too. :)

That is really kind of her.

There are definitely some lovely, lovely people on this forum. I've had lovely horses from Cazza and DottyConnection, endless practical help from Super_Kat (and she did my mare at Christmas for me!) and fantastic advice and support from countless others. FinnMcCoul gave me nice reassuring support after i got my worst ever dressage score...there are just so many smashing people here.

i had a woman i had never met before give me a saddle for my horse and help give me advice after i put a advert in a local papper looking for a horse wisperer and its the best saddle ever. Unfortunatly i lossed touch with her but i will never be able to thank her anouth as there is no way i could have forked out for a new one

Oh and now you really HAVE made me well up Mrs!!!
You are absolutely welcome to them, better used than sat in my tack room gathering rust and dust.
When Little stig arrived to cause the never ending mayhem, I couldnt find diddy rugs small enough for him. Lots of HHO'er sent him stuff, from rugs to louse powder to simply a packet of polo's as a treat. Their generosity was simply amazing.
Its nice to be able to do something for someone else for a change!
Now i'm off to see if my head still fits through the front door!
