WOW - keeping the air in....

I have a WOW saddle, and the valves which allow the air to be pumped/adjusted hang down and show from under the flap/skirt.

I've just taken it back to the fitter to have a bit more air put in one side as it's gone a bit lopsided, and I suspect one of these vulnerable valves has leaked a bit!

How do I protect them from knocks etc?

my fitter pops a bit of silicone sealant into the end of the tube when she is happy with the fit. Next time she needs to alter she snips the tiny bit off the end.
