You have obviously never ridden one. Fany is an Ardennes (Ardennais) and she is a chunky monkey, but she is comfortable, very nimble and has a lovely trot and canter, with a good active walk. She is good natured and absolutely bombproof, which is why so many of the RDA use them.

oh i agree people often forget that classsical dressage originated from war horses who at the time were very heavy like the percheron and other heavy horses which were the most prized at the time (dont forget they had to carry a full grown man and armor not just his but theres aswell)
