Ok so every numnah I tried with my wow slipped. I decided to do the obvious and buy wows own numnahs. Unfortunately I had never seen one - but figured its made for the saddle it must be right. TBH wish I had'nt bothered. What idiot thought it would be a good idea to tie the numnah to the saddle with a length of leather cord? Its just keeps coming undone! It also slips back. Rubbish.
Not happy.

Have you tried the Nuumed high whither ones? They sit up nice into the gullet - I personally find anyway.

Oh my latest thing is Shires high wither saddle pad - they are fab and do not move (not fixed at front, only on the girth)

Plus never touched the spine so I am chuffed - really don't see the point in spending £££ on a numed version, but then I'm tight!!

By the way no shaped numnahs work well with my wows, they have to have squares, otherwise they suck them up at the back. Best I found shaped wise was a Roma softy pad, but this is thick, so kinda takes out the point of the wow saddle.

I posted in NL and didn't see this thread. Dizzy blonde that I am (even though I'm brunette at the moment).

I'm having problems too. I don't want to use saddle clothes as I do endurance and clothes are too sweaty. So it has to be a numnah. I've been trying my Numed High Wither half wool numnah which seems okay but I don't really want the half wool bit under the saddle as it fits so well all I really want is something to keep the underside of the saddle clean. Do the plain Numed Hiwither numnahs stay put? Or is the furry wool bit that is stopping the one I've got from slipping (which is what I think)

I got the biggest numnah at the back I could find and it got sucked straight up into the back (front stayed put though)

I have resigned myself to the fact that I use squares and no numnah if I'm showing.

I know what you mean about the sweating and squares wouldn't be my first choice. Wow's seem to demand them though

Hope you wont think I am advertising, but the company I work for is working with anther HHO forum member to make a range specifically for WOW saddles. We have sent samples for her to assess (numnahs, dressage and squares). We are making them with a suede effect fabric on top with cotton lining so that they dont move. If you are interested PM me, they should be ready very soon. (Sorry again if this constitutes advertising.....)

I use the numed high wither 'propad' numnahs (they are slightly thicker than the 'everyday' ones). They do not budge so I'm really plesed with them.
I also have numed all wool ones which are good too, but find that the ones with a 'collar' all round stay put Better than the ones with just a seat 'collar'.
