i have seen a WOW club dressage saddle that im interested in buying, has anyone got one of these? i really am on the fence with them and would love to hear reviews on them, good or bad. its for a 16.2hh TB

Air flock or foam?

I have WOWs and won't use anything else, but I would only have air.

Clubs can't have the flaps changed, but I never change mine anyway these days. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same as the more expensive version.

Horses love the free shoulder movement. Owners love the all round adjustability.

It depends how expensive it is and whether you can afford to potentially lose that money if it doesn't work out. I would recommend seeing if anyone has one you can try for a couple of weeks before committing to buy one. I agree with the principle of them but after 2 weeks my horse was absolutely crippled by his which was 'fitted' by an approved Wow fitter. I wasn't impressed.

You won't lose much on a second hand WOW, there is a strong market for them.

I've made a profit on some of my eBay exchanges.

OP if air flocked, use a very thin gel pad or a wool lined cloth, some horses can feel the airbag overlap.

I lost a lot of money on mine. Bought new in November last year and sold a thousand less this week. Thought I did well to get that much seeing some of the prices they were going for on eBay.

Mine was a competitor and jumping so can't really comment on the club ones sorry.

Did you buy new? Any new saddle retailing at over two and a half grand will lose money.

OP same question, is it air flock? If so, it's a good price if in good condition. If foam, aftermarket is not as good.

I have six, all off eBay. I've had them on twenty different horses and never met one who didn't love it compared to a fixed tree.

i have just asked the question as she has not mentioned it. it looks foam to me though as there is no flair sign on the back, the others ive seen have the flair logo ive seen

OK, it could still be a good buy, because if you do want air, you can buy some air panels for £150 ish from eBay if you can wait a while.

Are you aware of the carbon fibre swinging joint in the formt? It's what makes these saddles so special and worth the money.
