which saddlecloths do you use under your jumping flaps? i am currently using a hi-wither gp but it slips back...im probably going to save up fro a foward cut nuumed but wondered what other options there are.

i have tried polypads but they just constantly slip.....so need something that will be foward cut and atacth to the d rings at the front

I use the nuumed forward cut high wither numnah. I find it fits perfectly and it has little velcro straps that attach to the D-rings rather than the usual girth strap arrangement which is a big plus for a single flap saddle. It doesn't budge at all. I was surprised as I thought Jen might get a bit sweaty under the sheepskin bit but if anything she sweats less than in a fabric numnah. Its the only numnah I've found that fits my WOW properly.

Hey
smile.gif

I wouldnt use a polypad as dont need anything so fit with such a comfy saddle!!

I use either nuumed (standard cheapest one fits fine!) or the standard robinsons own cheap saddle cloths for everyday.

Have weatherbeeta or nuumed for competing.

Have never found slipping a problem but I wedge the girth strap bits between the flap and the wing but on the panel so its pretty much in the right place- as it would be on normal girth straps.

Hope that makes sense!!

My favourite is a Roma 'softy' numnah, seems to fit well on mine. However I also use poly pads, and a Westgate EFI pad

I haven't moved to thinner numnahs, as I fully clipped my horses back.
