Are there any adult riders out there in a WOW saddle with a size 0 or 16” seat?? I have a very short coupled cob who needs 16” short panels (actually measure 15”) so have to use a size 0 seat. I cannot fit a size 1 as the panels are the short 16.
Does anyone have any experience in seat styles of this size? I’m 5’6 about size 10 so trying to decide which will suit me most for general purpose & some low level jumping.
Any advice or experiences greatly received, thank you :)

Not an adult but my 12 year old's loan pony came with a size 0 WOW as it is the only thing her previous owners could get to fit. It has caused many tears because my daughter hates it! Ours is a shallow seat but looks completely different to the example on their website because the seat has been really over padded meaning it basically has no depth and she is just perched on top. A fitter recommended we get an academic seat instead but they never come up second hand in size 0 and I am not buying new for a pony who is borrowed. Sorry, that is probably not much help but my take away was that the academic suits most who don't need a dressage or jump specific seat. I got lots of advice from WOW users on here so I am sure someone will be along with better input.

So I have a 13h on specially built 15" panels with a WOW size 0 seat (you can have 1" shorter panels). It's a deep seat with a flat tree. She's very wide despite being short so takes up the leg.

My other cob has size 0 panels and a size 1 seat. The size 1 came off my retired horse and it's also a deep seat but oddly I find it less comfy on him

I'm 5'3" though so short

You could absolutely have a size 1 seat on size 0 panels with WOW. A good fitter might have some you can try.

That is helpful actually thank you. I currently have a shallow seat on hire & finding the same problem. Think it seems to be a thing with the shallow seats. Tempted by the continental.

This absolutely is an issue with shallow seats, or it used to be when I bought them. They seem always to be padded too high and I find them incredibly uncomfortable, when they really should feel the same as a deep seat, just with a lower cantle.

I do have a really good fitter & currently also have the 15” panels on hire from her with a shallow 16” seat. My previous horse had 16” panels so used a 17 deep seat fine but I’m just trying to work out which seat style would suit me the best in the smaller size. I feel slightly perched in the shallow as irw0250 said. I have a continental in a size 1 but obviously that’s too big.
There’s too much choice 😂

Thank you, that makes sense to me with this seat I have on hire 👍
