Just seen that WOW have introduced a club saddle at a cost of £995 (compared with £1595 for their normal saddles). Anyone tried one yet? The leather looks a bit cheaper than the original WOW saddles...

I did a post on this a few days ago as I was interested in one. But i've completely changed my mind and im going for a Competitor because....

The Club does cost £995, but to get one with Flair, with curved girth, to have it upgraded to better leather and to have stirrup leathers, it will cost £1,543

The Competitor will cost £1,724 with everything including girth. Only an extra £181

So I'm definitely going for the Competitor. If the Club was around £700 I'd go for it.

Thats what I was thinking. The only "good thing" is that you are getting an adjustable leather saddle at a decent price...but there are a lot of other decent adjustable saddles on the market at lower prices...

Not sure I can see where WOW are going with this one...

Totally agree, I'd go for a Bates (coz i love mine) rather than the Wow Club. The only people who will buy it are those who have not done their research and i will be very surprised if they manage to do well with it, its too expensive for what it is.

The club looks ok- saw one monday but as everyone is saying it doesnt come with the flair and you cant change the flaps so cant really see the point. My saddler said that WOW are not yet sure what they will be charging to upgrade to flair but it will possibly be £300. So I suppose if you dont want to change the flaps it might be worth it. For example if you just wanted to do one discipline all the time. I just feel the whole point about the wow is that it is so flexible and this is lost with the club saddle.
