What do you think of them??
Been offered to buy one for 500 quid rode friends horse in it and i liked it but i didnt at the same time if thats possible!. It was really comfy and i felt secure in it but the seat made me feel a little bit perched (sp).
Really dont know what to do, can they be fitted to any horse???.
Any info would be great x.

i have a wow saddle and love it, if they arent properly fitted you can feel rather perched on top, they can be adjusted to fit any horse but it can be expensive if you have to change the panels (£350) or seat(£650)
however £500 is cheap for a secondhand one depending on condition

If its the right panel and tree type for your horse then go for it, thats cheap! You need to ride your horse in it and make sure its the right one. The headplate can be adjusted, and the air but if its the wrong panel type for your horse that wont make it fit. Like any other saddle really!

I am really thinking about it it has 16 inch panels on a 17 inch seat, my mare is quite short backed and her current saddle is 16 inch but too forward cut (she has very big upright shoulders). It has got a number 2 head plate in dont know how wide that is??. Where would i find a wow speacialist in my area???.

I agree it is a really good price. I think they are lovely saddles but we have recently purchased one, had it fitted to our mare and my daughter absolutely hates it! She says it is so uncomfortable and is using a Heather Mpoffat seat saver with it at the moment.
I think it will be going back up for sale (sniff!) Paid a lot more than you have been offered it for too.

If all the bits fit - go for it.

I was dead lucky and was offered a WOW saddle with dressage flaps, all the bits fitted like it was made for Star and it cost me £600. I've had the Flair adjusted and she loves it.

If you pull back the tongue under the pommel and find the headplate is sat between bits of leather rather than in a moulded seat then it is very cheap

Even if you don't get on with it you could sell it on eBay and make some money out of it!

You will never feel close to the horse in a WOW, they sit too high off the horse's back. But I have five of them (well six right now, one's on eBay with an opening bid of £695 already) because my horses love them so much.

The saddle you've been offered is cheap if it is a Competitor but not if it is only a Club (are the flaps bolted on or permanently fixed?) Fitting will cost you £50 without a gullet plate change. New gullet plates are another £30.

Thanks alot people think im gonna go for it like its been said if i dont get on with it I can always sell it and maybe make some money on it
