A little self indulgent, but I am SO pleased with my boy tonight!
After a couple of weeks of feeling like I was banging my head against a brick wall and not getting anywhere with him (infact feeling like we were regressing rather than progressing), I got on him tonight and not only had him on the bit in walk trot and canter, but his usually motor-bikey left canter felt amazingly balanced. It was AMAZING!!

Excuse the self-indulgence, but I am beaming from ear-to-ear now!!

A session like that once in a while makes it all worthwhile!

I am pleased for you and hope it's a sign of things to come.

That's such a good feeling. I have a youngster and often feel it is two steps forward, one step back rather than just continually improving. And sometimes it is hard to tell they are getting better as the progress is only gradual. But then sometimes you do get a brilliant session and walk around with a cheesy grin!
