so following on from my previous post a few days back (http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=364546) i have had a great few days.........
on tuesday we did the same ride as wednesday with no napping and i extended it up the woods on the way home
yesterday i went out with a friend round some woods and he was perfect in every way
BUT TODAY...
i started off with the road work block but thought instead of completing that again i would go a different way and we went onto the common!!!!! we saw dogs, prams, cows (in a feild) and he was perfect!!! He spooked a little and was a little on his toes but i made him work in an outline whilst on the common and we walked along!!!! i warned the ym before we left and she said she would come and look if we werent back in 2hrs.... the ride took us 1.5hrs and we plodded up the drive to see her smiling and looking relieved that we had done it!!! also its windy and this nearly always upsets my chump and it started to rain and he always used to try and turn his bum into it or gallop home but not today. OMG i LOVE my pony!!!!
now im drinking a hot choccie and as soon as i calm down and stop smiling so hard im off to bed before i have to get up for work!!!
