Aarghh!!! How did she do that? Back foot and now her fetlock is swollen, she's also taken a piece of hoof off and farrier can't get to me until Thursday. I am so fed up of all this self injuy,cold hosing and weekend inability to ride, at big financial cost

There is NOTHING in the field she could have done it on and with only 4 hours turnout per day on full competition livery the risk to her is so minimal. I work hard all week to pay for this expensive twonk and I am soooo fedup as I never seem able to ride. I need to RANT!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG STYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, its sucks doesn't it? I am on the same thing. 3 weeks at my new yard, where i can ride in their beautiful facilities, doing proper schooling and jumping 4-5 times a week and pony has gone lame. swollen fetlock, hopefully just bruised...

I hope your girl gets through soon. At least its not summer just yet! i am hoping if i get my injury quota out the way now, i might be luckier this summer!! Cleo waited until May last year before she landed herself on 6 weeks box rest!

Thanks for the words of comfort. I get so upset it when I have to miss the only time I can ride on the weekend. Also, when she has to miss out even on one or two sessions on her exercise regime her fitness goes so quickly - it's just so frustrating!!!!!!!!!

sods law isnt it .mine usually go lame at the start of 2 weeks off, i really think they plan it.
