Wrexham Yards?

Evening All!

I have just been offered a job on the east side of Wrexham. I'm going to be commuting, but am looking to move my horse somewhere near to work... With the intention of moving house locally in the next year or so.

So far I've identified cefn park as a possible, but I wondered if anyone else had any ideas of local Yards? I would be willing to creep east a bit towards tushingham/tilstone way or north towards rosset and farndon for the right place.

I have transport so a lack of school isn't a deal breaker, my only must haves are decent hacking (with the option to hack out with other liveries) and preferably all year 24/7 turnout. Horse is a gelding that prefers group turnout.

I only know of the big obvious ones over that way. It would be worth having a look at www.northwaleshorse.co.uk and joining the forum, there are a few livery ads there.

Welcome to the area. I don't want to panic you but there are a couple of cases of strangles in n Wales at the moment (I'm not sure exactly where) so if you to view don't be surprised if there are extra precautions or you are asked to delay for a week or two

Much of north wales is closed at the minute. Not Wrexham yet but there is at least 1 case of strangles local to Wrexham

Thanks, I will take a look to see if anyone is advertising vacancies at the moment. I'm in no hurry to move as I won't be starting for a couple of months. Luckily I am on a small private yard of retired horses at the moment, so no chance of bringing anything to a new yard!

I've been having a look around the local websites but nothing is jumping out within the area I'm looking in. Plenty to the North and West though! Never mind, I have time to look properly but if anyone thinks of anything please add to this thread or PM me.
