Wrinkly legs!

I know this is probably a silly question! Went to have a look at a pony yesterday, it had very wrinkly front legs - looked like it had been bandaged way too tightly for quite a period of time. Asked if it had been wearing bandages and was told not and that it's legs had always been like it since they had owned it (2 years) and it had suffered no problems

Am I missing something major here?

My boy got wrinkled fur on his legs from his veredus magnetic stable bandages so I would say he's having something on his legs or has had something on his legs cause even after stopping using them and switching to magnetic straps, my boy still has some curly bits after 6 months ... or it can be a sign of cushions disease, or at least that's what a judge thought it was with my boy until I told her about the boots as she marked me down for it. Does it have curly hair anywhere else?

No curly hair anywhere else, it's a 10 year old welshie. Sounds a bit too good to be true - done everything and given the daughter lots of confidence but they want it to go to a good home for life and not be passed around for pony club etc!

Mine's a 20 year old welsh C and he didn't have curly hair till the boots went on every night so not too sure. It is definitely a showing no no though if that helps! If you are having pony vetted then you should be ok??

mine's got curly hair on his back legs at the moment. he has had them clipped to the skin multiple times for ultrasound scans and then they have been bandaged every night for the last 8 weeks and the hair is growing back curly. he is a 20yr old welsh D. was hoping they might have straightened out by next spring though!
