I need to write a receipt out for Bertie's new owner, obviously I know to put her name and my name and the price but do I need to put anything else on it?

Thanks.

My last receipt read the following:

Sold to:

Date Sold:

Date of Collection:

Instructions to be carried out prior to horse leaving:

The horse known as (insert name) (insert breed / passport number) was sold to (insert buyer)

The purchaser did / did not have the horse vetted on (insert date). The animal is sold as seen and no warranties are offered for soundness or behaviour.

I then listed anything like rugs etc that went with the horse.

Print two copies, get them both signed and keep one for yourself.

Should I type it on hand write it?
Could someone do me an example!
Can you tell Ive never sold a horse before!

I dont know what order to write all the stuff down!!

also that you are not responsibilty for any infection if he gets one. especially after i read a post in vet that someone's gelding cost £1000 due to infection.

I put either sold as seen tried and vetted or sold as seen and tried and sold without vetting on purchasers choice.
oh, and if they vet and pass I always write down the name of the vet and the practice.

Heres the receipt I done, what do you think?
I have just realised I have made a couple of spelling mistakes but my friends PC didn't have spell check lol
I had to use friends as my printer has run out of ink.
