I've been asked to write an advert for a friends rising 4 year old. What sort of information would you like to see in a advert for an unbacked horse? She's been bitted, longreined ect just had no-one on her yet (waiting to find a sutible saddle) What sort of pictures would you like to see? I was thinking a confo shot, then 2 movement shots. I was also thinking of including a video to show her longreining, lunging , walking on the road with traffic. Do you think this is a good idea or would it put you off?

What about ...

Expected height to make once fully matured
Experience - so add what she has done. But in all honesty, doing too much is likely to put me off. I'd personally, rather see less done with a youngster than too much.
Breeding/blood lines (if she has any)
Potential disciplines
If good to catch/lead/load/farrier/vet etc

I'd want to see a conformation shot and a movement shot - I think extra photo's/videos etc can be shown to the person at the time of viewing - and may just take up extra space in an advert.

When I went to see my horse, who had only been backed as a 5 year old, lightly hacked and then turned away and bought back into light work as a rising 6 year old - the owner had put together a little photo album showing what he had done (from in hand work, de spooking and through the backing process), which was a nice touch :)

As above- show record if it has one. I think short and sweet adverts always catch more attention.
Pictures wise would want a head shot (no one can resist a pretty face ;) ) condo shot and trot and canter shot. Maybe free jump if you are aiming it towards jumping.
