I know this topic crops up a lot, so sorry to repeat it, couldn't find an old one! I'm considering writing to the breeder in my horse's passport - is this a really silly idea? On the one hand they may be churning them out and not care a jot for some British girl who's got one of 'em - but equally perhaps this was their first foal and they're tormented daily wondering what happened to him!
Or, perhaps, somewhere in the middle
Bearing in mind she could be anywhere on that scale, what would be a reasonable thing to write? Ideally I'd like to send her 200 photos, shout I LOVE HIM and CAN I HAS FOAL PICTURES?!?! but I realise this may not be the best approach
So I was thinking just a brief update about where he is, what he's doing, and perhaps one picture as a reminder (he has quite distinctive markings).
Anything else? If it was you what would you want, or not want to hear? Does it matter if it's handwritten or am I overthinking it?! Really nervous about the idea for some reason.
