surely if they wanted to walk like a horse they would have to make something for your hands and arms as well, seen as all the horses ive ever met have 4 legs dont think they have really thought about it very well!!

I think the point of it is to use them in films, TV and theatre work for realistic movement, so e.g. for an actor who is pretending to be a horse, unicorn, centaur, etc. and you would probably have two people one at the front and one at the back. There are a number of actors who specialise in playing animals, there is an amazing guy who does gorillas and he his movement is extremely realistic.
