Has anybody used this company? If so, how easy were they to deal with and more importantly, how reliable were they?

The time of year for supplementing is swinging round again and to be honest, it needs to be as much on a budget as possible without scrimping on quality feed so any opinions or views on the above mentioned company would be fab.

Thanks :).

prices per bag are pretty cheap but by the time i add on the delivery charge i am still cheaper going to the local feed store, i checked it for a monthly feed order and was charged £36 for delivery:eek: so didnt order

Id had never heard of them so had a look at there site, the delivery is rather steep so i wouldnt save anything, my local large feed merchant is only a couple of miles away and a very tiny detour between stables and home so i would just be lazy to order it instead of getting it myself!

I found them expensive for delivery too. Ended up asking around at the yard and discovered quiet a few of us using the same feed so we went to the local feed place and told them the numbers and quanities we'd be ordering over a given period and they now gave us a 10% discount on the feed..so saved us as a group a lot of money!! If you don't ask you don't get!!;)

it was only £5 for delivery to me. as long as you order 20 bags there's no surcharge which is fine by me as i use a lot of feed so 20bags not an issue. my main prob with them was that they said delivery would be on the 3rd working day so i took the day off to be there and then it didnt come till the following day when i couldn't be there and just had to leave a note to say it was ok to leave the order without a signature. still debating if i'd use them again. also, a lot of the sell by dates are a bit on the short side considering it's a bulk order so to last me around 3 mths. some of the stuff went out of date within a month.

The biggest issue is storage. If my yard can provide storage for bedding and a few sacks of feed then it would be cheaper for me to order from them. If not, then the delivery charge makes it pointless.

So much working out to do financially!
