The Vale of Lune Harriers have invested in a new website this year - http://www.vlhunt.com - which has proved very succesful.

By adding directions to meets using Google Maps, and adding a new photo gallery we have finally overtaken the LACS when searching for the Hunt website using the top Google search terms, and now get over 400 hits a week.

Hunt websites can help each other by providing mutual links, any hunt websites wishing to link to the Vale of Lune Hunt can copy a Hunt button from http://www.vlhunt.com/link-to-the-vlh/, and we will add a link in return.

Please email our webmaster@vlhunt.com if you wish to help/be helped.

Don't you think some of the hits might be from people finding out where and when you're planning to hunt?

Numbers may be good in some circles but intel is better.

"Don't you think some of the hits might be from people finding out where and when you're planning to hunt?"

As there are more people hunting than ever before, isn't that the idea?

It looks like a 1 stop shop for anti's to me.
Other hunts should do the same instead of keeping it all secretive and making it look like they have something to hide.

Well there's nothing on the new site to help them that wasn't on the old one, but improving the site has at least meant that searching for the Vale of Lune Hunt on google returns the VLH at the top of the page, and not LACS.
