The mixed radio-opacity (dark bits and light bits) is normal for withers. The furthest right one is also normal, even though it has a dark line through it. This isn't a fracture, it is where the bone has developed from two separate centres of ossification - normal.
However, there is some periosteal lifting on the two on the left, and possibly the third as well. This is the bright white line just above the bone that I have tried to arrow on the image below. This has been associated with injury of the supraspinous ligament.

Wow, thank you so much for your reply Alsiola. That's really interesting.

She has had her back medicated (T12-14) but I wondered if the problem there was a knock on effect from her wither area or visa versa. She is very sore and sensitive around her withers but my vet hasn't commented on them at all.
