X-raying after joint injections?

My horse is in the middle of lameness battle, and he had x-rays taken a week ago, and his right hock injected on Friday. It has been 3 days since, and today my vet wants to x-ray from more angles, because he only took front and side images of both hocks. My question is, will injections change the look of his hock x-ray, and possibly hide something? Or it will show the real image? I feel if I ask my vet it would be like I’m questioning his work. :/

I dont think it would change the image but just ask the vet you are entitled to know why, I ask about anything and everything if I am not sure I don't look at it like I am doubting his work, I am genuinely interested and want to know why that's how you learn after all.
