X-rays -cost?

Anyone know how much approximately x-rays will cost? It is for one pony foreleg.

I had both of Harrys forlegs done; over all for the x-rays + examination + call out was about £200.
And I got to see his leg's on his laptop screen, also he emailed me pics of the x-rays. - they were amazing!

Did you have to take your horse to the vet clinic or another 'horsepital'? Or do they have mobile x-rays to bring out to your place?

At home my vet would be around £200, in Orsepital around £150.

Our vets have portable x-ray machines so they can be done in the field, making life easier. You would have to have mains electricity though as i've known them blow up off a generator!

Mine has just had one foreleg done, they do both so they have a comparison. Mine came to £160 for x rays + £10 for sedation. That was taking her into the hospital

3 plates to look at my mares leg was £69.93 and the xray examination was about £188

I had a horse's hock x-rayed last year which cost me about £80, I took the horse to vet's myself. Sounds like I got a good deal!

My vet charges per plate so it depends how many x-rays are taken.
