About €30 per xray according to my last bill - add in examine (€40-50) & call out (anything from €30-90!) on top of that though! Sometimes its cheaper to bring the horse to the vet!

And it varies alot from practice to practice and depending on location!

The last time I had a comprehensive set of all four legs/feet done from all angles (so about 10 altogether, I think), it was €223. i took the horse to the practice.

Well it probably depends on how many joints/areas you are xraying.
Feet/pastern/knee/hock/stifle/back/neck!!

Id consider feet and lower limb to be a basic X-ray - and around 300 euro.
Comprehensive 800 ish, possibly more.

I had an older vet out who says he won’t need X-rays to know if she has arthritis would just know by looking at her and watching her move. Was wondering if what he’s saying is correct? He owns the vet clinic so I imagine if Judy needed X-rays he would be happy to be paid for them?
how would you know where to inject a horse for arthritis without X-rays?

I know some vets can feel the 'crunchiness' of joint arthritis through examination but not just by looking at them! And I dont know any vet who wouldnt like to confirm and see the extent through xrays - old school doesnt necessarily mean better or more experienced, sometimes younger vets have more up to date and current ideas and practices.

Your horse - you pay for what you want, but I'd be getting xrays to see the extent and also devise a treatment plan and then you have them on file to compare in a few months or years time if things get worse!

Well I mean he’s coming out to look at her, see her move flex her joints and that but he said cuz she’s 21 he Would say she has arthritis and would give her the injections for it. But I am considering just getting X-rays anyway cuz did seem a bit weird to me
