x-rays

A vet took x-rays of my horse 2 years ago. I now use a different vet. Am I entitled access to those x-rays seeing I paid for them?

I would say so. These days the hospitals tend to give you your own X-rays, they keep losing them !

Probably not in law, but most practices would tend to allow clients to have a copy.

The specialist hospital my horse went to for his eye surgery was only too pleased to pass on information and advice to my local vets. They spoke on the phone! How real-time is that! I would have thought that most vets would be as helpful but it may depend on why you changed vets! If you changed because eg you have moved to a different area, I can't see a problem. If you changed vets because you had a mega disagreement with the previous ones on eg bills, treatment, etc etc then the picture may be different.

I'll give them a call and see what they say.
No disagreement, just navicular treatment that didn't work at all.
Getting in touch with a remedial farrier. Thought the x-rays might help him out
